There are 2 rice bran oil extraction processes, pressing and solvent extraction. In general, pressing is used in small-scale rice bran oil extraction, while solvent extraction is always used in industrial rice bran oil extraction process. Rice bran oil extraction process introduction:

Small scale rice bran oil extraction process includes two part , they are: rice bran retreatment and rice bran pressing. Next you will see the detail introduction:

Rice bran pretreatment: the raw rice bran contains a small amount of impurities, which can be removed by screening; and then it will be sent to cooking machine also named conditioning system, to soften it. This step can make it easy to squeeze out rice bran oil.

Pressing: After pretreatment, rice bran is directly put into the rice bran oil press machine, and most of the bran oil is squeezed out .However, pressing rice bran oil extraction process is only suitable in small-scale, and pressed rice bran oil is high in AV(acid value), and has much poisonous matters. Before commerical use, rice bran oil refinery plant is needed. What's more,the pressed cake contains part of crude oil and it can be extracted in the rice bran oil solvent extraction workshop.
