General speaking , there are two refinery methods , they are phycial refinery , physical and chemical combination refinery method.

Physical refinery of vegetable oil includes sediment method through utilizing different specific gravity, filtering ,centrifugal etc methods. For example, such as sesame oil , in China, most oil producers in order to keep the original flavor of the sesame oil , we will adopts the cold filtering method to refine the crude sesame oil.

Physical and chemicial combination refinery method, In fact , most oil refineries adopts this kind refinery method , because in most vegetable oil, if you want to get lower FFA, colorless and odorless Vegetable oil , the chemicals are added. We have met some customers who is the first time to enter into oil producing , when they heard add the chemicials, they will worry about the final oil quality. Actually , it is no problem, because all the chemicals are food grade.
